Biography

I completed my PhD (Anatomy) at the University of Newcastle, followed by postdoctoral research at UoN. I have been >8 years teaching experience, focused on anatomy and physiology. I began working as a Teaching Scholar for SCU Collede in 2022, teaching into PSP and Diploma units in Science and Mathematics.

My work contributes to the following UN Sustainable Development Goals

Research

My PhD research was investigating the neurobiology of addiction, with subsequent postdoctoral research in the neurodevelopment of sensory systems. Recently, my research focus has moved into scholarly investigations focused on the efficacy of pathways and diplomas in preparing students for subsequent academic and professional success.
