Biography and expertise

Kate Jonathan trained as a social worker and mental health nurse in the UK and completed her PhD in Social Work and Social Policy at the University of York. Her doctoral study explored parenting patterns in families of Pakistani origin living in Bradford, UK. She obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Sheffield, UK. Kate is an educator and a fellow of Higher Education Academy, interested in multiculturalism and inclusion in classrooms, global practice, spirituality, and the well-being of the migrant community. She worked in the UK's homeless, mental health, and forensic and community settings.
