Dr Ian Miller

Ian’s research investigates the rate of skin cancer within populations participating in outdoor activities for health and recreation. His current work considers the performance of market-available artificial intelligence tasked with classifying melanoma from non-malignancies. Ian is completing a PhD in public health and was recently awarded an Australian Government Research Training Program scholarship to support his research efforts. Ian holds dual qualifications in chemistry and clinical exercise physiology. His working background is in allied health, and he has over a decade of experience working in laboratories.
