Biography

Eliza Hew is a PhD Candidate, Teaching Associate and Research Assistant in the Faculty of Business, Law and Arts at Southern Cross University (SCU).

Research

Eliza has research experience in the areas of family law, family and sexual violence, and children’s rights. Eliza holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Social Work from RMIT University and was admitted to legal practice in 2022. Prior to working at SCU, Eliza was employed at the Centre for Innovative Justice, RMIT University. Eliza is passionate about research that centres the voices and expertise of people with lived experience of justice and human services systems.
