Biography

Debbie is a Nursing Lecturer at Southern Cross University and is currently undertaking a PhD at Edith Cowan University. Her research focuses on the experiences of student nurses during Primary Health Care placements with a strong interest in strategies to enhance this workforce through dynamic placements and curriculum development. Debbie brings a wealth of experience in nursing, having worked in Acute Surgery, Primary Health Care, Global Health, Operating Theatres, Research and Education. She holds a Master of Education (Research) and postgraduate qualifications in International Health, Tropical Nursing and Immunisations.
