Biography
Dr Darran Stonehouse is a social worker with extensive practice experience in homelessness/housing and youth work. He teaches into Southern Cross University's social work (undergraduate and postgraduate) and community welfare programs, having previously worked as an academic at La Trobe University.
Darran's work contributes to the following UN Sustainable Development Goals
Research
Darran's research interests centre on contemporary housing and homelessness issues in Australia, trends in social policy and human services provision, and lived experiences of marginalised populations. He is passionate about collaborating with industry partners and communities to design and conduct research projects that further social justice.
