Biography

Carla is a Research Fellow at Southern Cross University, where she manages the NHMRC-funded PREDICT Study. This multi-site initiative focuses on preventing and identifying delirium in hospitalised older adults by collaborating with family carers and clinical teams. Carla's contributions span project coordination, data collection and analysis, and the implementation of PREDICT across four health districts, ensuring meaningful healthcare outcomes.

In addition to her research expertise, Carla is a non-executive Director at Coastlink, where she applies skills in clinical governance, strategic planning, and risk mitigation to enhance services for ageing and disabled populations.
