Biography

Brett is an osteopath, academic and researcher in health professions education and the broader health professions. His main academic appointment is in the Department of Medical Education at The University of Melbourne.

Brett's research spans the health professions, including clinical education, assessment and evaluation.

Community engagement

Brett is currently a member of the Accreditation Committee of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and the Examination Committee Chinese Medicine Board of Australia. He is also a Community Member of the Board of Vascular Surgery (Royal Australasian College of Surgeons) and associate editor of the journals, International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine and Focus on Health Professional Education.
