Abstract

‘Healthy Planet, Healthy People’ is a NEW educational game developed with the Planetary Health for Nursing & Midwifery Research and Education Collaborative in Australia to raise awareness of the impact of climate change on health and the delivery of sustainable healthcare services. The ‘Healthy Planet, Healthy People’ educational board game is premised on the understanding that there is no health without planetary health. It provides an interactive and enjoyable way for clinicians and students to explore the impact of climate change, pollution, deforestation, and biodiversity loss, on both the environment and human health. The game takes a hopeful and solutions-focused approach that empowers players to generate new ideas for how they can individually and collectively create a healthier, more equitable world for current and future generations
