Abstract
This chapter builds upon a brief overview of literacy education in modern Vietnam to discuss literacy education for ethnic minorities. It presents a review and analysis of relevant policy issues and practices. It addresses issues concerning the recently reformed literacy curriculum from the perspective of its likely impact on literacy education for ethnic minority students.
