Biography and expertise
Valli Ramamurthy is an experienced educator with over 27 years of teaching experience in India and Papua New Guinea. She has been teaching IT units of Southern Cross University offered in IBSUniversity Cohort in Papua New Guinea since 2018 and previously held positions as an Assistant Professor at Shrimati Indira Gandhi College in India and Head of the Department of Computer Science at Srimad Andavan Arts & Science College. She has actively contributed to the conversion of learning materials into digital formats as part of an Australian Academic Award Program.
Her areas of specialization include Data Mining, Cybersecurity, Database and Artificial Intelligence. She has guided 25 M.Phil research projects and has published papers in conference proceedings and journals. She has attended workshops in the booming technologies like Big Data, Data Analytics and Remote sensing and also served as resource person for various ICT training programs.
