Biography and expertise

Biography

I am an early career researcher showing interest on cutting-edge research to improve crop production and soil fertility management in Australian broadacre cropping systems. My key interests on increasing crop diversification in cropping system and maintaining soil health in long-term through deploying different approaches such intercropping, summer cover cropping, temporary intercropping, rotational system, particularly incorporating legumes in the farming system.

My expertise is on soil carbon farming process, in particular stabilisation of carbon in the soil system through enhances microbial functionality and diversification approaches. This could lead to lower the CO2 emission and mitigate atmospheric green house gas escalation process. I am keen to contribute soil metabolomics, root exudation products and microbial transformation products which would provide beneficial aspects of building up soil C, increase nutrients pool and soil health moderators.
