Biography

Associate Professor Nicola Whiteing is the Chair of Discipline for Allied Health, Midwifery and Community. Nicola has a PhD from Central Queensland University and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Nicola has a passion for developing authentic curricula that equip students to become healthcare professionals of the future. Her research interests include planetary health, interprofessional education, curriculum design, workforce planning and workforce development, particularly in rural and remote areas.
