Biography

Dr Lisa Chen’s recent PhD was embarked on evaluating the implementation of same-day discharge following percutaneous coronary intervention. She has many years’ nursing experience both overseas and in Australia, and she is passionate about cardiac nursing research in hopes of improving outcomes for cardiovascular disease patients.

Research

Dr Lisa Chen’s research interests focus on healthcare service re-design, knowledge translation, and mixed-methods study. She currently works on a state-wide project aiming to promote the use of same-day discharge following percutaneous coronary intervention. She is also passionate about improving cardiac patient education.

Teaching

Dr Lisa Chen commenced her full-time teaching for undergraduate nursing students recently. She is building her skills in academic education.
