Biography

Dr Kolleen Miller-Rosser is passionate about nursing and enjoys facilitating student nurses to the nursing profession. She has been in the nursing profession for over 25 years, receiving her PhD from Monash University in 2009. Her areas of expertise include paediatrics, clinical supervision and history of nursing. Kolleen has previously worked in Saudi Arabia, where she started her career in nursing education.

Areas of research interest include nursing education, clinical placements, history of nursing and health curriculum.

Teaching

Presently Kolleen teaches at Southern Cross University, mainly first year nurses. Her teaching includes the history of nursing., law and fundamental clinical skills and preparation for clinical placement.
