Biography
Ken was the Course Coordinator for Engineering Management at SCU between 2016 and 2021. Ken has a broad knowledge of the transport industry with a long-term corporate knowledge of the NSW portfolio of railway infrastructure, spanning 40 years within engineering, maintenance, asset management and regional infrastructure planning, including strategic planning roles within City Rail and the private sector.

Research
Ken is passionate about sustainability, and how to achieve it through holistic approaches such as systems thinking and knowledge sharing. Interests include the re-engineering of existing infrastructure, the aim being to leverage its value by applying leading technologies to suit emerging industries and rejuvenate communities & their local economies.
Community engagement
Ken has been active in connecting with communities both in the Northern Rivers and the Sydney and South Coast areas of NSW. Most recently assisting the Northern Rivers Producers and Manufacturers in shaping a supply chain strategy and in 2017 overseeing a workshop on climate change response initiatives.
Supervision
Principal Supervisor for a Master by Research student.

Ken is passionate about empowering graduates and professionals with new tools and methods to help build more sustainable communities.
