Biography
I am a lecturer and a researcher in accounting at the Southern Cross University. Before I joined the School of Business and Tourism, Southern Cross University, in February 2009, I have worked as an academic at the University of Adelaide, the University of New England and other universities since 1992.

Research
My research interests cover securities market supervision, carbon emissions, corporate governance, corporate reporting and earnings management. I have published many papers in international journals, editorial books and conference proceedings.
Supervision
I supervise a number of PhD, Master of Business by Research and Honours students. Completion of 2 PhD students, 1 Master of Business by Research and 3 honours.

Since 1992, I have taught ACC00129 Financial Information for Decision Making, FIN10708 Finance and Investment for Business, ACCTFIN7017 Financial Statement Analysis, and ACCTING7019 Accounting Concepts and Methods etc..

I am a member of Certified Practising Accountant Australia (CPA Australia) since 2003 and a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) since 2008.
