Biography
Hope has a background in naturopathy, from which she draws complex systems-based, holistic perspectives and an appreciation of the relationship between human health and the natural environment.

Research
Hope has training and demonstrated expertise in health services research using both quantitative and qualitative methods across a range of topics relating to traditional, complementary and integrative medicine, psychosocial aspects of health and health care, and planetary health. She is skilled in a wide range of research methodologies and enjoys integrating analytical approaches from different disciplines to produce findings applicable to the real world.
Community engagement
Outside of her academic work, Hope has a background in grassroots community organising around mutual aid for food resilience, advocacy for action on climate change, and women's rights. She believes that healthier communities can be nurtured through decolonised, community-engaged approaches to health care and research, and ecologically regenerative systems for human living.
Supervision
Hope currently provides supervision for HDR students.
