Biography

Erika completed her undergraduate studies in philosophy at the Australian National University and her doctorate in philosophy at the University of New South Wales.

Erika is a member of SCU's Research Clusters:

Research

Erika's research draws on cultural studies and philosophy of technology to analyse digital technologies. She explores questions of perception, affect and criticality and has written on video art, film, social robotics, multisensory computing, and critical thinking pedagogy.

Supervision

Erika is available to supervision research in cultural studies, philosophy and technology, including projects on automation, digital imagination, digitisation of the senses, digital affect, phenomenology and inclusive pedagogy.

Teaching

Erika teaches cultural studies and core units in the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education.
