Ms Bimbi Gray

Biography

Bimbi Gray is a Teaching Scholar in the Faculty of Health at Southern Cross University with extensive experience in osteopathy education, clinical education, curriculum development, accreditation, and work-integrated learning. Since joining SCU in 2008, she has contributed to teaching, assessment, curriculum renewal, quality assurance, and accreditation activities, with a strong focus on developing evidence-informed, practice-ready graduates.

Bimbi's scholarly interests include health professional education, evidence-based practice, knowledge translation, and musculoskeletal health.

She is currently completing a PhD focused on improving the implementation of evidence-based osteoarthritis care and contributes to several national initiatives, including the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Osteoarthritis Clinical Practice Guideline Working Group.

She has also contributed to the development of national accreditation standards for osteopathic education through the Australian Osteopathic Accreditation Council (AOAC) Accreditation Standards Working Committee and to the development of the Osteopathy Board of Australia's Capabilities for Osteopathic Practice.

Her scholarship spans curriculum development, digital learning, and translation of evidence into educational and clinical practice. She has contributed to the development and evaluation of innovative learning resources for health professionals and consumers and has published in leading musculoskeletal health journals.

Her contributions have been recognised through several awards, including the Southern Cross University Executive Dean Award, the Kolling Institute Outstanding EMCR Publication Award, and the Beryl and Jack Jacobs Travel Award.
