Abstract
The NSW Department of Industry and the NSW Innovation Productivity Council commissioned a research report into concierge services for NSW startups in May 2019. This desktop report used journal articles, background intellectual property provided by the authors, and Internet searches to identify concierge services operating in Australia and overseas. Five overseas exemplar concierge services were identified in Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, England and Scotland. The NSW Innovation Concierge (NIC) service was also examined for insights into how such a service currently operates within the Australian context.
