More than getting through the gate: the involvment of parents with a disability in their children's school educatiton in NSW

This participatory research project explored the experiences of parents with disability when participating in the education of their child/ren, identified the major issues which impacted on their involvement, investigated the barriers to their participation and recommended action to redress the barriers. Over eighty parents with disability participated in the project. The research team included a parent with lived experience of cognitive disability.
