Abstract
Study of effects of the wet ash area beneath the Kerosene Vale dry ash repository showed no significant effects on the local surface or groundwater quality due to installation of subsurface drains that direct groundwater from the ash areas. It was estimated that with natural stream flows all seepages from wet and dry ash storages were too small to have a significant effect on the local creek receiving water quality.
