This Storm is Called Progress is an art-science project produced in collaboration with New Zealand-based sound-artist Dugal McKinnon, who lectures at the New Zealand School of Music. This project pits the deep time of ancient geological formations against the “anthropogenic” time of the present – it is about the need for humanity to think radically outside of our current time and space, given our power to affect global and atmospheric conditions for thousands of years to come.
