Abstract
Welcome to the third volume of Huxley College's graduate journal, Summit to Salish Sea: Inquiries and Essays which includes the capstone presentations (or paper submissions) of Cohort 15, The Wave, of the M.Ed. Graduate Students who live for one year within the North Cascades National Park at the North Cascades Institute. This cohort's collection of students' capstones represents an exploratory examination of identity, social justice, and ancestry in relation to environmental education. These include discussions, performances, activities, singing Russian opera, and time-travel. Enjoy the diversity of ideas presented in this volume. Feminism in environmental education, the power of music as a teaching tool, and learning through lifelong teachers are only some of the topics covered.
