Abstract
•The quality of life of children improved with a course of chiropractic care.
•High parental education, previous herbal use and pain duration were identified as important in changes to physical health.
•Parents also under care, Medical Doctor referral and previous use of acupuncture were important to changes in anxiety.
•Current use of acupuncture predicted improvements in peer-relationships, pain interference and anxiety.
•Longer duration of symptoms predicts worst outcomes over the course of chiropractic care.
