Evaluation of the role of the Agreement on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures within the context of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) - uncertain scientific information surrounding GMOs - focus on dispute in EC-Biotech - interrelationship between the Agreement on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures and extra-World Trade Organisation 'law' - draws on past decisions to ascertain the likely application of critical concepts such as risk assessment in EC-Biotech.
