Dr John F Kearney QC AM: an enduring legacy

Since my appointment in 2009 as the fifth Dean of Law and the first female Dean at Bond University, I was very fortunate to get to know Dr John and Dr Alison Kearney, and have the benefit of their counsel and their extraordinary knowledge of Bond University, in particular the Faculty of Law. My predecessor Professor Duncan Bentley had consolidated and grown the excellent relationship that had previously existed between the Law Deans at Bond and John and Alison, and it was thus that I got to know them well in their later years.
