Abstract
This is a visual narrative that splices together short fictions as though they were sections of film that have been cut together. Inspired by German expressionist, surrealist and French noir films from the turn of the century, the narrative explores creative practices. Each splice is loosely tied together by the themes of sacrifice and perseverance but its left to the reader to decide if these are separate narratives or parts of a narrative whole.
