The recent increase in extreme weather events and the variety of crop types and planting patterns have shifted agricultural machinery research toward achieving consistent, high-quality performance in the field [1]. The emphasis is now on integrating systems as a whole rather than making small adjustments to individual mechanisms [2]. This includes determining machine size, configuring specialized components, implementing closed-loop control systems, employing sensor-driven decision making, and rigorously assessing field
work quality [3–6]. Standardized testing procedures are increasingly employed to allow for valid comparisons to be made across different sites and to assess the performance of
complete functional modules under realistic conditions.
