Abstract
As the incoming Editor-In-Chief (Dr Elaine Jefford) and Deputy Editor (Professor Annette Briley), we want to use this editorial to introduce ourselves and our vision for the journal to you - the readers, potential authors, and published authors. It is an honour to take over the baton from Dr Michelle Murray, whom we thank for her commitment to the journal over the past several years, including being highly instrumental in achieving its first impact factor.
As we enter the 15th volume of the International Journal of Childbirth, we are excite to share some important changes.
