Abstract
Welcome to a new issue of the International Journal of Event and Festival Management (IJEFM)! Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to advise you of some changes within IJEFM. After considerable thought, Karin Weber has decided to step down as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the journal, effective late 2019. I would very much like to thank Karin for all her work on the journal, both in terms of the everyday tasks of being an editor, but also in terms of her insight, generosity and strategic thinking which have contributed towards our achievements as a journal over the past few years. I will continue to be Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
