Abstract
An introduction to the journal is presented in which the editor discusses various reports published within the issue including one by H. Edmund Pigott on the sequenced treatment alternatives to relieve depression (STAR*D), one by Barbara Andrande and Oscar Ugalde on ethical issues and ethics in psychiatric case reporting, and one by Brad Hagen and Gary Nixon on a qualitative study of women who recover from psychosis and their experiences in the mental health care system.
