In the modern world, medical technology plays a very significant role in the healthcare delivery system. However, technology can malfunction, and the manner in which it is used can create technology-induced hostility amongst patients. Unsafe equipment can be dangerous for operators as well as to the patients, and can cause incorrect diagnoses, injuries and even death in patients. This study provides valuable information on the management of biomedical equipment, service quality and internal customer satisfaction, and recommends the two most effective models for managing biomedical equipment in public hospitals.
