College Connect is a strategy for supporting novice domestic and international students within diploma pathway programs at Southern Cross University [SCU]. From its introduction in 2014 until 2020, College Connect was delivered through weekly face-to-face workshops. In response to student feedback and workshop attendance patterns this approach has now been modified to include self-paced, on-demand online modules and reduced workshop frequency. The introduction of online modules aligns with a university-wide move towards online modularisation of undergraduate curricula. We discuss, with audience participation, how changes to College Connect may impact student success, and how this may be assessed.
