A number of projects have recently emerged with an interest in developing a tool to guide lecturers through the learning design process so that they might develop effective and pedagogically sound learning designs. Five of these projects - Phoebe, LearningMapR, Compendium, QUT’s Learning Design Templates and the LAMS Activity Planner - are outlined.
