Abstract
There is strong evidence for the benefits of exercise for people with MS, however, up to 80% of people with MS report experiencing exacerbated symptoms with elevated body temperatures. A range of cooling garments to assist people with MS manage heat sensitivity have been investigated. The aim of this systematic review was to assess the effect of cooling garments to improve physical function in people with MS, and to explain associated mechanisms.
