Abstract
This study examined the integration of traditional and Indigenous Ghanaian design practices in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) graphic design education. A survey of 99 Ghanaian teachers found willingness to engage cultural elements, but curriculum and professional development constraints. Recommendations include incorporating Indigenous knowledge, fostering cultural sustainability, and enabling authentic African-centred design pedagogy.
