Online Legal Interview - First Year Law

External students struggled to coordinate with partners for in-person client interview exercises due to personal or scheduling conflicts. The lack of flexibility in traditional delivery methods limited engagement and practical learning. These challenges disproportionately affected external and remote students, highlighting the need for a more accessible solution. Bridging the Gap Traditionally, legal education has relied on face-to-face instruction, but this model no longer suits the needs of today's busy, tech-savvy students. Post-COVID-19, the demand for flexible and engaging learning environments has grown. This project aligns with broader efforts to enhance legal education through technology, offering a forward-thinking approach to bridging the gap between traditional and modern learning methods. Flexibility to engage outside traditional classroom settings. Realistic client scenarios, enhancing practical understanding Technical challenges, including difficulties with eye contact and pre-recorded responses. Improved communication skills, emphasising clarity and reducing filler words. Increased self-awareness of body language and professional demeanor during client interactions.
