Abstract
In Vietnam, technology is a compulsory subject in the general education curriculum at the primary (grades 3–5) and lower-secondary (grades 6–9) levels. It is an elective subject at the upper-secondary (grades 10–12) level. It is intended as a vehicle through which students learn about and how to apply creativity in the design of products. In general, though, there is a limited understanding of the relationship between technology and creativity. This chapter addresses how studying technology in the general education sector can foster creativity.
