Abstract
Equations of state could be used in behavior prediction, especially for mixtures containing heavy hydrocarbons. Unfortunately, the properties that are predicted by equations of state might not be accurate. This error may be raised from experimental data inputs or parameters of equations of state. Some references have suggested the procedure for tuning equations of state that results in improving prediction of the phase behavior. The properties of plus fraction such as molecular weight, critical properties, and binary interaction parameters may be used as tuning parameters. The methods for grouping and tuning of equations of state are discussed in this chapter.
