The author reflects on the regulation of internet gambling. She argues that governments are not on the verge to administer Internet gambling. However, she identifies increased revenue through taxation as a benefit of Internet gambling regulation. She contends that the lack of evidence and research that defines the impact of Internet gambling hinders its regulation. She suggests the use of empirical research and cooperation of stakeholders.
